This measure (Chapter 4, Para 31, e) provides for a certification of conformity with a given regulation. A person who has obtained the business license and wants to import the seed shall apply the recommendation to the Technical Seed Committee by submitting the copy of certificate as the attachment. This measure (Article 52) provides for the requirement by the exporting country to conduct testing of products against given requirement, before they can be exported.The Myanmar Agriculture Service Pesticide Analytical Laboratory may analyse the residue content of food crops if requested by the exporter of such crops. The objective is for the safety from the hazard of pesticide to the consumer and environment. |

Authorization Requirement for Importing Fertilizer

This measure (Chapter 12, Article 44) provides for the authorization requirement for the importing product form the relevant agency. If application is made to issue permit or license to import or export fertilizer, the government department or organization authorized to issue such permit or license may issue the permit or license only to the person who submits the recommendation of the Myanma Agriculture Service attached to the application.
