Firstly, the timbers obtained from open tender sales of Myanmar Timber Enterprise in Euro or Kyats must be reprocessed. Then, the required documents must be applied with the attachment of the application form to Export Timber Certification Office, Bayintnaung Road, Western Gyogonre, Insein.

Baulks Square, Boule Cut Log and Unbark Timber of Teak and Hard Wood are not allowed but the timber can be export after reprocessing.

From the date of sale confirmation, the duration of bill of timber and forest products sold by Myanmar Timber Enterprise will be valid within 5 years for Teak and Group(1) species, and within 3 years for Group(2) species and others.

In this condition, the letter must be submitted to Headquarter, Forest Department to get the approval for sawing under the inspection team including Myanmar Timber Enterprise and Forest Department Staff.

In order to export the logs/sawn timber obtained from direct sales of Myanmar Timber Enterprise in Kyats, the letter must be submitted to Director General of Forest Department to get the approval.
