Procedure for applying Pesticides Export Endorsement  

Step 1
The exporter shall provide sample pesticide to the PPD under Department of Agriculture for lab testing. If needed, the PPD will conduct field inspection to the factory.
Step 2

The PPD will check the formulation of pesticides, quality, labeling of the provided sample products. Then, the PPD issues the result to the exporter. For the failed lab test result, the PPD informs the exporter with reason.
Step 3
For the successful lab test result the PPD issues the Export Certificate and Pesticides quality analysis certificate.
Step 4
The exporter will collect export certificate at the PPD and continue to apply for the export license at the Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce. The PPD provides price recommendation along with export certificate. For the above process up to Step 3, with complete and correct documents, the overall process will take 5 working days.

Application for Registration or Amendment of Registration of Pesticide (Form 1) Any companies (Foreign or local companies) desirous of importing formulated pesticide and active ingredient to control the agricultural pests or for domestic use should be apply the pesticide registration to the Joint-Secretary ofPesticide Registration Board.  An application in the prescribed form shall be submitted the registration as the requirements as follow: - (a) Fill up the application Form-1 payable with the respective fees; - Completed Application form   - Letter of consent from manufacturer  - Technical supporting documents - Proposed label with English and Myanmar translation will be submitted to PRB secretary office and - Formulated product in sufficient amount  - 25gms of technical active ingredient or ingredients will also be submitted to Pesticide Analytical Laboratory. Pesticide Registration or Amended Registration Certificate (Form 2) The Registration Board shall, upon decision to grant registration with respect to the application Form 1 for registration pesticide, issue a registration certificate on this Form-2. Import/Export Department of Agriculture
Application for Licence for Formulation and Sale of Pesticide (Form 3) Any person desirous of engaging in formulation and sale of pesticide locally shall apply to the  Director General ,Department of Agriculture , on this Form-3 duly filled. License Department of Agriculture
Licence for Formulation Sale of Pesticides (Form 4) Director General ,Department of Agriculture  shall upon decision to grant license with respect to the application, issue the license on Form 4. License Department of Agriculture
Application for Licence for Repacking and Sale of Pesticides (Form 5) A person desirous of engaging in repacking and sale of imported or locally produced pesticide shall apply to the Director General ,Department of Agriculture  this Form-5 duly filled. License Department of Agriculture
Licence for Re-packing and Sale of Pesticides (Form 6) Director General ,Department of Agriculture shall upon decision to grant license with respect to the application, issue the Licence for Re-packing and Sale of Pesticides in this  Form 6. License Department of Agriculture
Application for Licence for Whole/ Retail Sale of Pesticide (Form 7) A person desirous of engaging in whole or retail sale of pesticides shall apply to the respective  District Manager,Department of Agriculture on this Form-7 dully filled. License Department of Agriculture
Licence for WholeRetail Sale of Pesticide (Form 8) The respective District Manager,Department of Agriculture shall upon decision to grant license with respect to the application, issue the license on Form 8. License Department of Agriculture
Application for Pesticide Quality Analysis (Form 9) The specified quantity of the samples of imported pesticide or active ingredients shall be sent to Myanma Agriculture Service, Pesticide Analytical Laboratory for compulsory anslysis on this Form 9. The voluntary application for pesticide quality analysis of locally produced pesticides and pesticides in the hands of the license holders shall also be sent on Form 9 to the Myanma Agriculture Service, Pesticide Analytical Laboratory along with specified quantity or weight of samples taken in the manner prescribed. Sampling Certificate for Quality Analysis of Pesticides (Form 10) In taking samples for the testing quality, the respective Manager or Inspector shall issue a sampling certificate on Form 10. Import/Export Department of Agriculture
Pesticide Quality Analysis Certificate (Form 11) The Myanma Agriculture Service, Pesticide Analytical Laboratory shall after analysis on the samples, issue pesticide quality analysis certificate on Form 11. Import/Export Department of Agriculture
Crop Sample Receiving Form for Laboratory Analysis (Form 13) The respective Manager or Inspector if necessary is entitled to take specified quantity or weight of samples in the manner prescribed to determine whether pesticide residue levels in harvested crops exceed prescribed limits. In taking such samples the respective Manager or Inspector shall issue sampling certificates on form 13. Import/Export Department of Agriculture
Application for Pesticide Residue Analysis in Crops (Form 12) The Myanma Agriculture Service Pesticide Analytical Laboratory may analyse the residue content of food crops if requested by the exporter of such crops on Form 12 submitted along with the specified quantity or weight of sample taken in manner prescribed.
