Procedure for Prior Permission, Registration Certificate and License Application for exportation of radiation
1. A person who wants to import or re-export for radiation generators / irradiation apparatus or radioactive material shall apply prior permission to the Division of Atomic Energy (DAE) with the prescribed form (DAE-5).
(a) Designate Radiation Protection Officer to carry out the radiation protection programme;
9. A person who wants to re-export the radiation generators / irradiation apparatus or radioactive material and/or Disused Radioactive Sources to the country of origin, shall apply reexportLicense to DAE.

The following form/s are used in this procedure.
|Application for a Registration Certificate to Possess Radioactive Material or Irradiation Appratus (DAE-1)||The exporter in possession of any kind of radioactive material or irradiation apparatus which already has obtained import license can apply the registration certificate with this application form (DAE-1).||Export||Department of Atomic Energy|
|Registration Certificate at DAE (DAE-2)||If Form DAE-1 is completed and passed, this registration certification Form DAE-2 will be issued.||Export||Department of Atomic Energy|
|Application for a Licence to Use, Produce, Storage, Distribute or Sell Radioactive Material or Irradiation Appraatus at DAE (DAE-3)||The exporter who has received the registration certificate must have the business of utilizing, producing, storing, distributing or selling radioactive material or irradiation apparatus. If not, the exporter is required to apply to the Department of Atomic Energy with this application form (DAE-3) in order to obtain the license.||Export||Department of Atomic Energy|
|Licence for Radioactive Material or Irradiation Apparatus at DAE (DAE-4)||The Department of Atomic Energy will conduct field inspection regards with complying stated procedure and DAE will do regular work site inspection for extension of such business. If passed DAE grants this license (DAE-4).||Export||Department of Atomic Energy|
|Application for Prior Permission Radioactive Material or Irradiation Apparatus at DAE (DAE-5)||A person who wants to return the Radioactive Material to the Original Country shall apply the Re-Export recommendation letter by submitting this (Form- DAE-5) to the DAE.||Export||Department of Atomic Energy|
|Prior Permission at DAE (DAE-6)||The DAE will inspect the radioactive material which will return to Original Country. If the inspection is passed, DAE issues this Re-Exportation License (Form DAE-6) and Transport Certificate.||Export||Department of Atomic Energy|
