Description | This measure (Chapter 3, Para 5 and 6, c) provides for the requirement by the exporting country to obtain the phytosanitary certification before the goods are exported. A person who has been permitted to export plant or plant product, if desirous of obtaining phytosanitary certificate or disinfestations or disinfection treatment may apply to the Myanmar Agriculture Service after payment of the prescribed fees. In re-export plant, plant product, pest, beneficial organism or soil through transit camp to abroad, if desirous of obtaining phytosanitary certificate, application may be made to the Myanmar Agriculture Service after payment of the prescribed fees. The objectives of this measure are to protect human life and health and protect the natural environment. |
