In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3(d) of the Tariff Law, Ministry of Planning and Finance issued the Notification No.39/2025 on 4 June 2025. To support economic recovery and assist domestic micro, small and medium enterprises, the notification provides the reduction of customs duty upon the importation for the domestic production of the Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) and Completely Knocked Down (CKD) systems fuel-powered vehicles with the approval of the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC). The notification will valid from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026.
