Notification No.22/2019 (Amending the Import Negative List)

In accordance with Article 13 (b) of The Export and Import Law, the Ministry of Commerce has issued the Notification No. 22/2019 amending the Import Negative List provided in the Notification No. 61/2017.

According to the Notification No. 22/2019, 234 Tariff lines from the previous Import Negative List (Notification No. 61/2017) have been liberalized. Thus, the products under those 234 tariff lines can be imported without import licensing requirement.

However, 29 tariff lines that were previously outside the list, are now included in the list of Import Negative List as provided in the Notification No. 22/2019. As a result, there are currently 4613 Tariff lines in the current Import Negative List provided in the Notification No. 22/2019.

The commodities under the 29 Tariff Lines that have been transferred to the Import Negative List from the list of Non-licensing requirement are required to apply for import license after 60 days of the announcement of this Notification No. 22/2019.
