In Myanmar, commodities are classified using the HS Code (Harmonized System) which is compliant with the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN).

You can view the tariff currently applicable to each commodity by using the search facilities below.

Under each commodity code you will see the base MFN (Most Favoured Nation) tariff and the tariff according to the commitment of ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement-ATIGA which is applicable to other ASEAN member states.

Myanmar is party to a number of Free Trade Agreements (FTA) entered into between ASEAN on behalf of all member states and other nations. Preferential tariff rates apply to goods imported from these countries and a schedule of reductions over time has been agreed with a view to eventually eliminating tariffs altogether.
