Measure on Re-export of CITES Species

Description This measure (Annex A, Para 1-3, 2-3 and 3-3) provides the measures applied by the government of the exporting country on exported goods which have originally been imported from abroad. The re-export of any specimen of a species included in Appendix I, II and II of CITES shall require the prior grant and presentation of a re-export certificate. The objective is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten the survival of the species in the wild.
Comments Myanmar became as a member of Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora – CITES on 11 September, 1997. This measure may be changed according to the country’s condition.
