| Description | This measure (Annex A, Para 1-1, 2-1 and 3-1) provides for the requirement to obtain a permit by the government of the exporting country for technical reasons. The export of any specimen of a species included in Appendix I, II and III shall require the prior grant and presentation of an export permit. The objective is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten the survival of the species in the wild. |
| Comments | Myanmar became as a member of Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora – CITES on 11 September, 1997. This measure may be changed according to the country’s condition. |
