The Ministry of Finance and Revenue issued Notification No. 101/2026, extending the suspension period for the levy of advance income tax on the importation of liquefied natural gas until 31 May 2026 to ease the burden of electricity charges and reduce the electricity costs of natural gas-fired power plants.
