Notification No. 38/2020 concerning the Amendment of the Import Prohibition List, entered into force on 25 May 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by the paragraph 13 (b) of Chapter (VI) of the Export and Import Law (2012) of Myanmar, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Notification No. 38/2020, dated 25th May 2020. According to the paragraph (2) of Notification No. 38/2020, beer, cigarette, and other products that are prohibited according to the existing rules and regulations are not allowed to be imported into Myanmar. This Notification shall prevail over the Notification No.8/2013 issued by the Ministry of Commerce on 4th February 2013.
