Newsletter No.10/2020 concerning the regulations for the Importation and Exportation of Gold, and gold products
The Ministry of Commerce issued the Notification No.10/2020 concerning the importation and exportation of Gold, and gold products. According to this notification, the importation and exportation of gold, and gold products can be undertaken by the Letter of Credit (LC) only (The international remittance are payable in foreign currencies permitted by the Central Bank of Myanmar). The objective of this notification is to fight the illicit financial flows which are caused by the importation and exportation of gold and gold products. The Newsletter enters into force on 12th August 2020.
