There are two ways to use the commodity search function. First, and best, is to insert the 8 digit commodity code number (HS number) into the search box. You can locate the code number relating to the commodity you are interested in by clicking on the “List all” link and scrolling through the commodity codes. Second, you can do a word search for the commodity that you are interested in. However, this will only work well if you match the exact description of the commodity in the commodity code list. For example, if you are searching for mango you should enter the exact verbal description for HS 0804502000, 'mangoes'.
