Notification/Newsletter No.3/2022 concerning the changes in the list of tariff lines items that are subject to Export License

With a view to ensuring food security and protecting national security and environment, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Notification No.51/2020 concerning the list of tariff lines that are subject to export license, dated 8^th July 2020. According to the Notification No.51/2020, 778 tariff lines at the HS 6-digit level (OR) 1224 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level are subject to export License (https://myanmartradeportal.gov.mm/en/legal/304).
In addition to the tariff lines mentioned in the paragraph 1, 11 tariff lines at the HS 6-digit level (OR) 12 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level, comprising maize (corn), grain sorghum, maize (corn) flour, and value-added products of maize, will be added to the list that are subject to export license. The list of the tariff lines is provided in the annex of this notification.
All products listed in the annex of this Notification are allowed to be exported from Myanmar by land, sea, and air after obtaining an export license from the Department of Trade in line with prescribed laws, rules, and regulations starting from 1April, 2022.
