Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce issued the announcement to allow the trade route change on 12 April 2024. According to this notification, the commodities which already issued export/import license to export/import via the Lwegel trade Port will allow to export/import via Kenglat, Tachileik, Myeik, Kawthoung trade posts of Myanmar-Thailand border area. Those commodities will also allow to export /import via oversea route.
