Export/Import Bulletin (7 /2022) concerning the changes in the list of products that are subject to Export Licensing
The Department of Trade of the Ministry of Commerce issued the Export/Import Bulletin (7 /2022), dated 23 May 2022, concerning the changes in the list of products that are subject to Export Licensing.
With a view to ensuring national food security and protecting national security and the environment, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Notification No.51/2020 and the Export/Import Bulletin No. 3/2022 concerning the list of tariff lines that are subject to export license. Accordingly, 789 tariff lines at the HS 6-digit level (OR) 1236 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level out of total items of Myanmar Customs Tariff version 2017 are subject to export Licensing ( https://myanmartradeportal.gov.mm/en/legal/339 ).
In addition to the tariff lines mentioned in the paragraph 1, 53 tariff lines at the HS 6-digit level (OR) 181 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level, comprising pulses and beans, oil crops, edible oils, will be added to the list that are subject to export licensing. The list of the tariff lines is provided in the annex of this notification.
All products listed in the annex of this Notification are allowed to be exported from Myanmar by land, sea, and air after obtaining an export license from the Department of Trade in line with prescribed laws, rules, and regulations starting from 1 April, 2022.
