Notification/Newsletter No. 2/2022 concerning the changes in the list of tariff lines that are subject to Import licensing
The Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce, issued the Notification No. 2/2022, dated 1 March 2022 concerning the changes in the list of tariff lines that are subject to Import licensing. According to the Notification/Newsletter No. 2/2022, 57 tariff lines at the HS 6-digit level (OR) 141 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level, comprising wheat and plastic raw materials, will be subject to import license starting from 2 March 2022.
In addition to the tariff lines provided in this Notification No.2/2022, 3931 tariff lines at the HS 10- digit level, provided in the annex of the Notification No. 68/2020, 3070 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level provided in the annex of the Notification No.18/2021, and 826 tariff lines at the HS 10-digit level provided in the annex of the Notification No. 1/2022, are also subject to import license. The Import license for those tariff lines can be applied online via https://myanmartradenet.com/.The objective of this measure is to state administrative procedures for importation of goods.
