Newsletter No.5/2021 concerning the extension of the period of temporary elimination of export/import licensing requirements on certain commodities
The Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce has issued the Newsletter No. 5/2021, dated 31-3-2021 concerning the extension of the period of temporary elimination of export/import licensing requirements on certain commodities that are provided in the annex of the Newsletter No. 2/2021.
According to the Newsletter No.5/2021, all commodities that are provided in the annex of the Newsletter No. 2/2021 https://www.myanmartradeportal.gov.mm/en/ announcement/2157, except 10 tariff lines under WCO HS code 0302: Fish, fresh or chilled, excluding fish fillets and other fish meat, will be exempted from obtaining export/import licenses until 7-5-2021. The objective of this measure is to help the traders free from import license fees and improve trade facilitation.
