The Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce has issued the Newsletter No. 2/2021, dated 3-3-2021, concerning the temporary elimination of export/import licensing requirements on certain commodities starting from 8-3-2021 until 9-4-2021.  The list of the commodities (essential items for national development, items that are supportive to health sector, basic foods, and agricultural products that are regarded as the main export items of Myanmar) is provided in the annex of this Newsletter No. 2/2021. The objective of this measure is to help the traders free from import license fees and improve trade facilitation.
