Procedures to obtain permission for Wine Importation via Tradenet 2.0

Step I

Any person/ company obtaining a company registration number, importer/exporter registration certificate, an exclusive dealership certificate is eligible to apply for the wine  import registration and wine import permission from the Department of Trade under the Ministry of Commerce by submitting the following documents:

FDA recommendation/approval

FL-11 license (license for the wholesale supply of foreign liquor)

for any importer to obtain import license from Department of Trade for the importation of wine by submitting the following documents:

(i) company registration; (ii) import registration certificate; (iii) dealership certificate; (iv) FDA recommendation/approval; (v) the address of warehouse; and (vi) sale and distribution information. The objective of this measure is to prevent the illegal trade of wine products.

 For Wine Importation:

1. The companies are allowed to import same brand.
2. The importation of wine will only be allowed to use sea and air mode.
3. The importer must submit the Country of Origin certificate for wine importation.
4. The imported Wine’s alcohol by volume must be within 20 percent.
